Refunds & cancellations
Rules for deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds on professional usage analytics engagements.
Eligibility
Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Data Services Cloud for scoped engagements described on this site. Website content is informational and does not create a purchase until a statement of work or written quote is accepted and an invoice is paid.
Timeframe to request
Refund requests should be emailed to info@dataservicescloud.digital within fourteen days of the event that triggers eligibility (cancellation confirmation, missed start window caused by us, or documented non-delivery).
Deposits
Assessment and rationalization projects usually require a forty percent deposit. If you cancel more than ten business days before the agreed start date, the deposit is refundable minus a administrative fee of ten percent of the deposit. Cancellations inside ten business days forfeit the deposit, because analyst time has been reserved.
Full and partial refunds
- Full refund: If we cancel an engagement for reasons solely within our control and no mutually acceptable new dates are found.
- Partial refund: If work has started and you cancel, fees for completed stages (inventory, interviews, draft analysis) remain payable; unused later stages may be refunded proportionally.
- Workshop fees: Fully refundable when cancelled more than five business days before the session; fifty percent refund inside five days; no refund for same-day cancellation or no-show.
Non-refundable items
Travel costs already incurred for agreed on-site sessions, third-party meeting room fees booked at your request, and completed written deliverables already accepted are not refundable.
Work already started
Once kickoff interviews or data collection have begun, refunds are limited to unfinished stages. Materials and notes prepared for your engagement are not transferable to another client and may be destroyed on request after settlement.
Rescheduling
One reschedule of a workshop or project start date is allowed without fee when requested at least five business days in advance. Additional reschedules may incur a fee of up to fifteen percent of the engagement value to cover calendar disruption.
No-shows
If scheduled stakeholder interviews are missed without twenty-four hours’ notice, we may charge for the reserved slot or extend the timeline without reducing the fee.
Refund process & timing
Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within fourteen business days of approval. Bank transfer refunds may require confirmation of account details. We will confirm the amount and method in writing.
